MTC Motorsport BMW X5 X6 Stepped Huge Front Mount Intercooler, also fits many other models.
We have engineered these intercoolers using a bar and plate core matched to our flowed cast end tanks. This is the most efficient way to keep the intake temperatures low.
The MTC intercooler features a massive competition core with flowed cast end tanks and increased surface area
It has the ability to deal with well over 800bhp
The core size is 535mm x 332mm x 150mm and weighs around 16kg. It holds 19.2 litres and provides 120% more surface area and 120% more volume over the stock intercooler and is powder coated in satin black.
For reference it matches the size of the Wagner intercooler
We have tested our intercoolers on a few vehicles and found they have absolutely fantastic results. The IAT compared to the standard intercooler are reduced massively which means you get consistent increased performance.
The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had intercooler intake temperatures of 90 degrees through 5 runs on the road.
At the other side of the intercooler into the engine the standard intercooler temperatures were 60 degrees whereas the MTC intercooler temperatures were in the high 20’s over all 5 pulls on the road.

Professional installation is recommended and will take approximately 1-2 hours as it is a direct replacement to the car with the standard hoses fitting and clipping in. May require some plastic trimming on some models.

Shipping Policy
MTC Motorsport ships Monday-Friday excluding holidays. The shipping cut-off time is 13:30pm (GMT). Orders placed after 13:30pm will be processed the next business day. All orders will be shipped express, usually arriving within 24 hours (UK only).
For orders outside of the UK, an surcharge will occur.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Refunds

Please note, to offset the cost of order processing, the customer will be charged a restocking fee by MTC Motorsport on all returned goods unless we accept liability for any unsuitable or faulty item. An amount of 10% of the purchase price plus the original postage will be applied.
