I accidentally became a photographer after keeping a DSLR Camera which was a rejected gift. I’ve always had a huge passion for cars, I would regularly attend car shows so I thought “Hey, why don’t I take this camera along with me too!” So I rolled up and was just naturally gifted at taking photos of cars!
Just kidding. This couldn’t be further from the truth. In reality it was near impossible running the camera without using Auto mode! But my perfectionist and persistent nature means that I can’t cope when I do things badly. So over the next few months it became my mission to study, and learn how to take good photographs. I spent countless nights watching all sorts of different youtube videos, learning how to use a DSLR, what the difference between shutter speed, aperture and ISO was; all while relentlessly eating many snacks. After this I digressed into studying how to use Lightroom and Photoshop in order to learn post-production techniques. I find editing photos more fun than taking them. It’s far more challenging.
