MTC Motorsport Mercedes A Class Front Mount Bar and Plate Intercooler
We have engineered these intercoolers using a bar and plate core matched to our flowed cast end tanks. This is the most efficient way to keep the intake temperatures low.
The MTC intercooler features a massive competition core (110% more volume than stock) with flowed cast end tanks and increases the surface area
Pressure tested to 3 bar, these intercoolers are proven to handle over 500bhp
This intercooler weighs around 12kg and provides 110% more volume and 25% more surface area than the standard intercooler.
The intercooler is finished powder coated in black
We have tested our intercoolers and found they have absolutely fantastic results. The IAT compared to the standard intercooler are reduced massively which means you get consistent increased performance especially on tuned vehicles.
The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had similar intercooler intake temperatures at around 90 degrees through 5 runs in winter.
At the other side of the intercooler into the engine the standard intercooler temperatures were not great at 48-52 degrees whereas the MTC intercooler temperatures were between 24-26 degrees over 5 runs.

The intercooler fits to the standard hoses perfectly and the standard clips on the car are fine to re-use. Professional installation is recommended and should take approximately 2-3 hours.
We would go as far as to say this is the best intercooler on the market for these models.

Shipping Policy
MTC Motorsport ships Monday-Friday excluding holidays. The shipping cut-off time is 13:30pm (GMT). Orders placed after 13:30pm will be processed the next business day. All orders will be shipped express, usually arriving within 24 hours (UK only).
For orders outside of the UK, an surcharge will occur.

Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Please note, to offset the cost of order processing, the customer will be charged a restocking fee by MTC Motorsport on all returned goods unless we accept liability for any unsuitable or faulty item. An amount of 10% of the purchase price plus the original postage will be applied.
